North America

WELCOME TO NORTH AMERICA!

North America is considered to be the 3rd largest continent in the world and is located within the Northern Hemisphere.

North America is surrounded by the Arctic, Pacific, and Atlantic Oceans and is also home to the Caribbean Sea. Due to its massive size, North America mainly consists of 4 large countries, the United States, Canada, Mexico and Greenland.

There is so much to see and do in North America that you might not know where to start because of its large size.

You really can plan any kind of trip, from swimming with the pigs in the Bahamas to skiing the mountains in Canada or taking a road trip down America’s most famous Route 66.

The climate in each country is so vastly different that you can hit all seasons in one trip.

Planning your trip around North America really leaves you with so many possibilities. It’s home to some of the best state of the art cities, natural wonders and terrain in the world.

BEST TIME TO VISIT

The United States

You can really visit the USA any time of year. However, the best time to visit the United States is during the spring and fall seasons. This is when you will see the beautiful wildflowers start to flourish or when the vibrant fall leaves change color to a beautiful burnt orange.

The colder and shorter days mark the arrival of winter, which is also a great time to visit. South and west areas like Louisiana, California and Florida generally stay warm during the winter period.

States such as Washington, Montana, Minnesota and Wisconsin usually see snowfall as early as October.

Mexico

There’s no bad time when visiting Mexico. However, the seasons can really determine what time of year you wish to visit. May to October in Mexico is generally their rainy season.

There can be unexpected rainstorms every day, which isn’t always the best. The dry season is usually around November to  April. Again, this can depend on the location, as rainstorms are quite popular in destinations such as Cancun and Cozumel.

If you are looking for cheap accommodation and flights to Mexico, then the low season is your best bet.

Canada

If you’re looking at exploring Canada, then the most popular time to visit is during the summer and fall months. The best time to visit is mid-May to June, right before the busy summer season.

If you plan on visiting Canada during the winter months, then the best time to visit is early November or late April. The cold weather is a little milder than in the peak of winter. Canada can be pretty unpredictable with winter storms, so always be prepared.

Caribbean Islands

Known for having amazing sunny weather, the Caribbean Islands are the perfect mid-winter getaway for tourists. With year-round temperatures reaching 70 – 80°F (24 – 30°C).

The best time to visit the islands is generally between December to April when it’s less humid and the weather is slightly cooler. Again, this all depends on the island you wish to visit, your budget and interests.
