Skyscanner makes finding cheap flights easy! Skyscanner’s “everywhere” feature will let you know the cheapest routes to anywhere in the world based on your timeframe and budget. You can also search by month letting you know prices in advance and can notify you when flights go on sale.

Another great place to shop for amazing hotel deals is Travigo. This fantastic website compares hotel prices and finds you amazing deals across the globe. These include many awesome hotel websites such as hotels.com, booking.com, Agoda, Priceline & more.

Get to know the locals and book your next place with Homestay. Experience the authentic local culture in someone else’s home. Perfect for budget travelers on the go! I’ll admit, I have met some pretty awesome locals just from booking through Homestays. A must-try.

I use this app on the daily, I cannot recommend it enough! Whatsapp is a fast and simple messaging app available anywhere worldwide. I use this app to call & message my family and friends from overseas all the time. All you need is available wifi.

Best for frequent flyers! App in the Air not only keeps track of your flight itinerary & boarding pass but it also lets you know about wait times for security, check-in and more. The best feature of this app is the flight tracker, it records every mile flown from every flight.

Google Translate

Can’t read french? Not to worry instantly translate words, phrases and pages into your preferred language with Google Translate. With over 100 languages built-in this app has helped me many times whilst trying to order something off the menu.
