Memphis Tennessee, USA
So when it came to our first ever road trip through the south, visiting the birthplace of Rock n Roll was high on my to do list. We had very little time to explore as we were on a tight schedule which meant we only had 24 hrs, but this didn’t stop us from seeing some of the highlights Memphis had to offer.
Now of course no southern road trip would be complete without a visit to the Kings Place “Graceland” now I’m a bit of an Elvis fan so I was super excited to see inside as I heard all the rooms were designed quite different.

Blue Lagoon – Grindavik, Iceland
If there’s one thing Iceland is well-known for other than its beautiful Waterfalls, incredible Ice Glaciers and stunning Volcanoes is its Blue Lagoon. It’s safe to say that this place is certainly on everyone’s itinerary of places to visit when visiting Iceland and for good reason. This place looks beyond amazing, its milky blue waters are simply picturesque.
Whilst planning the last leg of our Europe trip our travel agent suggested that we plan a 4 day stopover in Iceland. I didn’t know too much about Iceland so I did some research a found the Blue Lagoon, needless to say the pictures just blew me away and the decision was made – ICELAND HERE WE COME!!

Universal Studios Resort – Orlando, Florida USA
During our visit to the USA we only had little time to spend in each state. So when it came to Orlando, Florida we wanted to make the most of it. Oak Alley Plantation – Vacherie, Louisiana USA
On our first ever road trip around the US we had always wanted to visit the beautiful state of Louisiana. Fan Boat rides, Mardi Gra and Gumbo was high on our list of things to see and do, it wasn’t until we were in New Orleans that we came across Oak Alley.
